It is the second leading cause of cancer death in American men, behind lung cancer, one out of every six men will get it. Most men will survive if their cancer is detected and treated early. Men should have their first prostate exam at age 40.

Beebe Medical Center encourages people to have cancer screenings done in compliance with American Cancer Society guidelines. For questions on the cancer screenings and education, please call Cathy Ward, RN, Beebe Medical Center Cancer Screening Nurse Navigator, at (302) 645-3169.
