The Two by Two Longaberger Branch Hosts Successful Fundraiser

The Two by Two Longaberger Branch hosted a successful fundraiser for the Tunnell Cancer Center on Saturday, October 17. Guests filled the Dagsboro Fire Hall for the annual luncheon and auction that raised $3,280.55 this year.

Organizers, guests and area merchants provided items for the auction including handmade crafts, Longaberger baskets, and other merchandise. The Dagsboro Fire Hall Auxiliary prepared the luncheon buffet. This is the fourth annual luncheon hosted by the Two by Two Longaberger Branch. The group has raised more than $12,650 for the Tunnell Cancer Center since 2005.

Beebe Medical Center's Tunnell Cancer Center was established in 1995. It has received the Commission on Cancer's highest accreditation with commendation as a comprehensive community cancer center. Its clinical specialties are medical oncology/hematology and radiation oncology. Nearly 200 patients visit the center each day.
