Flu Vaccine Shortage Cancels Clinics

10/20/09

Beebe Medical Center announces today that all Free Flu Immunization Clinics are cancelled. Despite continued efforts to obtain vaccine for seasonal flu, our supplier, Sanofi Pasteur of Swiftwater, PA, reports that only 100 of the 2,200 doses of the seasonal flu vaccine that were ordered are available to be shipped to Beebe Medical Center. We apologize for any inconvenience that this causes and will notify the public through the media, if the situation changes.
