Rehoboth Beach Restaurant Cloud 9 Supports Beebe's Tunnell Cancer Center
02/03/09
Cloud 9 Restaurant in Rehoboth Beach raised $3,770 at its fourth annual Dine Out event to fight breast cancer.
The popular event once again entertained a crowd of 90 diners with a lovely dinner and music. Executive Chef Chris Teal prepared the three-course, gourmet dinner and sommelier Laura Lamprecht chose the wines. Jazz vocalist Vessa performed. There was a silent auction and an art display and sale by Philip Morton Gallery, also of Rehoboth Beach.
Proceeds were donated to Beebe Medical Center's Tunnell Cancer Center. The event was organized in memory of Patricia Brimm, who died from breast cancer in 2005. Brimm was the mother of Justine Berdini, wife of Cloud 9 owner, John Berdini.
