Beebe's Family Day at the Movies Continues as a Tradition

Once again, a December Saturday morning at Atlantic Theatres Movies at Midway proved to be something special when Beebe Medical Center held its annual Family Day at the Movies.

More than 450 children, parents, grandparents and others on December 20 arrived at the doors, greeted friends, visited and laughed and found their way to one of three films aired at 10 a.m. This year's films were Bolt, Tale of Despereaux and Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, each attracting its own followers.

We enjoy offering this day to the families in our community, says Jeffrey M. Fried, President of Beebe Medical Center. We make it free to the children to encourage families to come and enjoy having a good time with their children.

Mr. Fried also thanked the volunteers who help make the event possible.
