The 21st Annual Beebe Ball to Include Scene from "Phantom of the Opera"

Beebe Medical Foundation's 21st Annual Beebe Ball, Venetian Masquerade, will feature new and exciting additions to the evening's program. The event, to take place Nov. 1 at the Baycenter at Ruddertowne in Dewey Beach, will feature a performance by Clear Space Productions, as well as original art by students of Rehoboth Elementary School. The Ball also will feature the photographic work of Frank Van Riper and Judith Goodman, whose exhibit is currently displayed at The Packard Reath Gallery in Lewes, and jewelry from Elegant Slumming Fine Jewelry in Rehoboth.
Clear Space Productions, in collaboration with the Venetian Masquerade theme, will perform a scene from The Phantom of the Opera. Eight performers will take the audience through one of the most famous scenes from Phantom, adding the thrill of a live performance to the event.
In addition to the Clear Space Productions performance, homemade masks decorated by two classes of fifth-graders from Rehoboth Elementary School will be on display throughout the evening. Students in Kellyann Palladino-Ranieri's art classes spent two weeks creating their own designs to be displayed at the Ball.
The Packard Reath Gallery will also have photographs from the Serinissima: Venice in Winter photograph exhibit for sale the night of the event.
Elegant Slumming Fine Jewelry in Rehoboth has once again donated beautiful jewelry for the Ball. A pair of 18-carat rose gold dangled earrings with 1.13 carats of diamonds and 3.98 carats of tourmalines from the Sophia Collection valued at $6,500 will be up for bidding in the Silent Auction.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the expansion of the Beebe School of Nursing. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Foundation at (302) 644-2900.
