Beebe Medical Center to Present African American Women's Conference

Beebe Medical Center will present health information focused on the African American woman, and offer free health screenings from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, July 11, at Delaware Technical & Community College in Georgetown.
The African American Women's Conference will feature presentations by medical professionals on heart disease, stroke, diabetes, nutrition and medications, and include a question-and-answer period following the presentations. There will be free glucose, cholesterol, and blood pressure screenings, bone density and body mass index evaluations, and information on the Community Healthcare Access Program, which helps the uninsured access healthcare services.
