Beebe Medical Center Names New Director of Patient Access

Beebe Medical Center announces that Jane Severs has accepted the position of Director of Patient Access. She will be responsible for the oversight of the Patient Access Department, which includes the registration processes of the Emergency Department, Inpatient and Outpatient Admissions, as well as pre-registration for outpatient services, and the hospital operator/guest relations' team.

For the last six months, Ms. Severs served as Coordinator of Emergency Department Admitting Services in the Patient Access Department. Prior to her employment at Beebe Medical Center, she held Patient Access leadership positions at Ephrata Community Hospital in Ephrata, PA, and at the Pennsylvania State University The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA.

Ms. Severs holds a Bachelors of Science Degree and a Master's of Health Administration from Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM), American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and she is a Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM).
