Beebe Medical Center Highlights The Beebe School of Nursing In Beacon

01/04/08

Beebe Medical Center highlights the successes of the Beebe School of Nursing in the January 2008 issue of the free Beacon magazine, to be available beginning the week of January 14, 2008.

Readers will meet nurses who have graduated the school in recent years and learn what the education has meant to them and to their careers.

The 21-page special issue includes 10 pages about fundraising efforts over the past year and recognizes those in the community who have supported the medical center through philanthropic giving. Another article gives information from local physicians regarding preventive measures to be taken during the flu season. The magazine also introduces readers to members of Beebe's Medical Executive Committee and explains how the hospital and physicians work together to meet the healthcare needs of the growing community.

The magazine will be inserted into several local Sussex County newspapers during that week. It also will be available from the Public Relations Department and on the web January 14 at www.beebemed.org

The Beacon is published five times a year and highlights Beebe Medical Center and the many healthcare services that it and its Medical Staff offer the community. It also includes an up-to-date telephone directory for the Medical Center and the satellite facilities.
