Beebe School of Nursing Offers Evening/Weekend Nursing Assistant Class

The Beebe School of Nursing is offering an evening/weekend fall Nursing Assistant class. Upon successful completion of the 150- hour course, students are eligible to take the nurse aide competency examination for certification and be considered for positions at Beebe Medical Center.
The first part of the course is classroom instruction and lab practice. The balance of the course is clinical instruction at Beebe Medical Center. Classes will begin Tuesday, September 18. They will take place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. They will be followed by Clinical classes on Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and /or, if needed, evenings from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The course fee is $1,200 and includes book, lab, and certification exam fee. An application and a $200 nonrefundable deposit are due one week prior to the beginning of the course in order to reserve a position in the class. The balance of the course fee must be paid in full or a payment plan must be initiated on the first day of class. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
