Beebe Medical Center President and CEO Jeff Fried kicked off the event. "Heart disease is the nation's number one killer. Stroke is the nation's third-leading cause of death. Both are major causes of permanent disability. Every 33 seconds another American dies of heart disease. Beebe Medical Center's mission to encourage healthy living and prevent illness is the reason this fair is so important," said Fried.
