Beebe Medical Center to Offer Free Health Screenings in Selbyville

Beebe Medical Center Community Health Department will provide free health screenings and education Saturday, February 17, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the St. Martin in the Field Episcopal Church in Selbyville.

As part of the day's health care focus, Beebe community health nurses will carry out free screenings for cholesterol, diabetes, blood pressure and bone density. Education will be provided on colorectal cancer, as well as on programs in Delaware that offer free cancer screenings. Staff also will be available to evaluate individuals' eligibility for the Community Healthcare Access Program (CHAP).

English/ Spanish interpreters will be on hand to assist throughout the day.
