Beebe Medical Center to Offer Free Screenings at "My Health. My Medicare." Event

Beebe Medical Center announces that it will support the My Health. My Medicare. event to take place from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., November 21, at the American Legion in Millsboro by offering free screenings to attendees.

Beebe Community Health Nurses will do glucose and blood pressure, and osteoporosis screenings.

The official Medicare bus will be stationed at the American Legion Auxiliary building at 31768 Legion Road (Route 24) in Millsboro. Information will be available on prescription enrollment, Medicare's health insurance options, preventive medicine benefits, and how to get personalized information online.

Medicare encourages those who plan to attend this event to bring their Medicare card and the list of prescriptions that they are taking. More information about Medicare can be found by calling (800) 633-4227, or at the Medicare website www.medicare.gov
