11/07/06
Beebe School of Nursing invites anyone who is interested in entering the rewarding and challenging field of nursing to attend the School's semi-annual Open House on Thursday, November 16, 2006, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Ginny Rickards, MEd, RN, Director of Admissions, will conduct information sessions at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to discuss educational opportunities at Beebe School of Nursing. The School is located in Lewes behind Beebe Medical Center.
Beebe's nursing education program is known for offering comprehensive nursing education, providing education in basic nursing concepts, advanced technology, and critical care nursing. The two-year curriculum provides optimal, hands-on clinical experience that is more accessible due to the proximity of Beebe Medical Center.
Upon completion of the program, graduates are prepared for licensure and entry-level nursing practice. Students can earn a bachelor's degree in one additional year through an articulation agreement with Wilmington College.
Pre-Requisite college courses and a certified Nursing Assistant Course are required prior to enrollment in the Beebe School Nursing program. For more information, call Beebe School of Nursing at (302) 645-3251.
