The demonstration will begin at 12:45pm and attendees are asked to enter the racetrack at the East Gate (across from the Grange building).

Everyone knows to dial 911 in an emergency but most people do not understand what happens when that call is placed, says, Alene Honecker, Trauma Patient Care Technician with the Injury and Prevention Outreach Department of Beebe Medical Center, this event will give the public an opportunity to understand the system .

The event is being held in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the Delaware Statewide Trauma System. The system consists of eight acute care hospitals, injury prevention practitioners, emergency operations centers, basic life support and fire services, advanced life support agencies and the Delaware State Police Aviation section.
