Cholesterol and Glucose Screenings Offered Free to Public

Cholesterol and glucose screenings will be offered free to the public from 9 a.m. to noon, April 13, at the Beebe Lab Express-Milton, at 611 Federal Street in historic Milton.

Beebe Lab Express-Milton offers a variety of healthcare laboratory services to the community, including finger-stick glucose testing, EKGs and specimen collection. Employees are skilled Phlebotomists and Registrars who are cross-trained to stay current in these areas.


Opened last fall, the facility includes a comfortable waiting room, three private registration booths, three phlebotomy drawing stations, one of which is designed especially for children, and a specimen-processing area. It is the latest in Beebe Medical Center's network of convenient, satellite imaging and laboratory services located in Georgetown, Long Neck, Millsboro, Millville, at the Beebe Health Campus on Route 24, and at Five Points in the Lewes area. These facilities augment the services available at the Beebe Medical Center main campus on Savannah Road in Lewes.
