Visit to Lewes by Mayo Clinic Leading Researcher Well Received

Dr. Todd Golde, Chairman of the Neuroscience Center, Consultant and Associate Professor at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, presented a conference on Emerging Therapies - An Alzheimer's Update on November 17 at the Lewes Public Library.
The Lewes Convalescent Center sponsored the program, which was attended by more than 100 people. Dr. Golde discussed groundbreaking research in Alzheimer's Disease, suggestions on what to do if someone in a family is showing signs of cognitive dysfunctions, causes of Alzheimer's disease, and what is being done to find new treatments for the disease.
