Integrative Health Department Offers Seminar on Sexuality and Menopause

Dr. Steven Berlin, Medical Director of Integrative Health at Beebe Medical Center, will lead a special seminar on the effects of aging and menopause on sexuality.

Dr. Berlin specializes in obstetrics and gynecology at Bayside Health Association, which has offices in Lewes, Georgetown and Ocean View. He decided to offer the seminar because of the many questions he receives from his patients.

Most people are not aware of the normal changes that take place as both men and women age and often are embarrassed to ask questions, he said. My goal is for people to better understand the changes taking place in their bodies so that they can continue to enjoy intimacy with their partners.

The seminar will take place from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, December 8 at Beebe Medical Center. Pre-registration is required due to limited seating. The cost of the seminar is $10 per person. To register, telephone Beebe Medical Center's Integrative Health Department at (302) 645-3528.
