Beebe Welcomes A New Community Partner
10/31/05
The Carl M. Freeman Companies is providing the principle event underwriting for one of the most successful annual fundraisers held in southeastern Sussex County, Beebe Medical Center's Annual Thanksgiving Ball, to take place this year on November 5 at the Baycenter.
Having been a part of this community most of my life, I have been impressed by the growth and development that I have seen at Beebe Medical Center, said Carl M. Freeman Companies President Josh Freeman.
Prospective buyers often ask whether there is quality healthcare available in the area, Freeman said. I am pleased to be able to respond affirmatively, and cite the excellent healthcare that I know first hand is offered at Beebe Medical Center.
Beebe Medical Center President and CEO Jeffrey M. Fried said he was honored that Carl M. Freeman Companies is showing such strong support for Beebe.
We respect Carl M. Freeman Companies as a quality organization and greatly appreciate its involvement in the Annual Thanksgiving Ball, which is an important fundraiser for us. This year's event will benefit the expansion of Beebe's Emergency Department, a major project we have undertaken to serve our growing community.
The Thanksgiving Ball has raised more than $800,000 over the years for various projects at Beebe Medical Center. It is a premier event that marks the beginning of the winter social season, and for the last two years has sold out within days of invitations going out.
Each year the ball has a theme, with individuals and businesses decorating tables in order to add to the exciting and festive mood. This year's theme is Books and Novels, and promises to impart event goers into an evening of fantasy.
