Cadwallader Earns Professional Distinction

Sue Cadwallader, who has served as a Tumor Registrar at the Tunnell Cancer Center for nearly four years, has been awarded the Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) credential by the National Cancer Registrars Association's Council on Certification.
In September 2005, Cadwallader was one of 276 candidates who successfully completed a comprehensive, written examination on principles of cancer data abstracting and registry management.
She joins more than 4,000 others worldwide who have met extensive education and work experience requirements for certification as a credentialed Cancer Registrar. This profession is dedicated to the collection of cancer data used to support clinical care of cancer patients, and investigation into causes and effective treatments for the many forms of the disease.
Cadwallader has worked at Beebe Medical Center for 10 years. She worked in the Tunnell Cancer Center's Radiation Oncology Department for six years before moving to the Tumor Registry Department.
