Beebe Volunteer to Hold Book Signing to Benefit Vision 2005 Campaign

Donald Wagner, award-winning poet and one of Beebe's Guiding Light volunteers, will sign copies of his third and latest book of poetry, The Writings of Me, on Thursday, September 1, and Friday, September 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. outside of the Nursing Supervisor's Office. The books will sell for $20 each and all proceeds will be donated to the Vision 2005 Capital Campaign.

Mr. Wagner launched his own fundraiser in the spring of 2004 with his first book of poetry, Memories from My Heart, raising $1,000 for the expansion and renovation of Beebe's Emergency Department through the Vision 2005 Capital Campaign. He sold copies outside of the Sunshine Café.

In the fall of 2004 he published a second book of poetry, My Words to You, and used that too to raise funds for the Vision 2005 Capital Campaign. So far Wagner's poetry books have raised more than $2,000 for the Vision 2005 Capital Campaign.
