Plans Underway for 5th Annual Funfest

Beebe Medical Center Auxiliary is getting ready for its upcoming family fundraising event, the 5th Annual Funfest, to take place Saturday, September 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Winswept Stables on Route 24.

The day-long event will include games, pony rides, food, a bake sale, and a plants and pumpkin sale. There also will be several free horse shows throughout the day.

We are so happy to have the opportunity to hold this event at Winswept and wish to thank owners Jay and Dawn Beach, said event Chairperson Pat Sandy. The children love to see the horses perform, and the setting is so nice.

Admission is free, but there will be a charge for some of the activities. Tickets will be available on site. Rain date for the event is Sunday, September 18.
