Beebe’s Outpatient Care Center Celebrates Successful First Year in Operation
11/11/04
In its first year, the Outpatient Care Center at the Beebe Health Campus on Route 24 treated nearly 17,000 express testing patients, 550 physical therapy patients, and performed approximately 30,000 diagnostic imaging exams. The Outpatient Care Center, which offers express testing (blood drawing and EKG services), physical therapy with an expansive gym, digital diagnostic imaging, and a dedicated women’s imaging center, recently commemorated a great first year with a well-attended, successful open house for the community.
“Part of the key to our success has been that the Outpatient Care Center at the Beebe Health Campus was designed utilizing patient feedback from our patient satisfaction surveys,” explains Ellen Tolbert, Director of Patient Relations at Beebe Medical Center. “Immediately after opening the campus, outpatient satisfaction jumped by 27 percentile points as compared to 595 outpatient centers nationwide. Beebe’s Outpatient Care Center is now in the 96th percentile, meaning that only four percent of the other 595 centers have higher scores. This is a tremendous achievement for our patients and our team members.”
The Outpatient Care Center has earned loyal customers for its array of services and friendly, dedicated patient focus. Diagnostic imaging services include: x-ray, ultrasound, mammography, radiographic fluoroscopy, bone densitometry, computerized tomography (CT scan), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Customers also have the benefit of separate waiting areas for each service and a convenient, covered drop-off area with ample parking. The Beebe Health Campus is located on Route 24 (John J. Williams Highway), one mile west of Route 1. For more information and hours for specific services, please contact the Beebe Health Campus at 302-645-3010.
