Volunteer to Hold Book Signing of Original Poetry to Benefit Vision 2005

Donald Wagner, award-winning poet and one of Beebe’s “Guiding Light” volunteers, will sign copies of his latest book of poetry, “My Words to You,” on Wednesday, September 29, 2004, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. outside of the hospital’s Sunshine Café.

Mr. Wagner launched his own fundraiser last spring with his first book of poetry, “Memories from My Heart,” raising $1,000 for the expansion and renovation of Beebe's Emergency Department through the Vision 2005 Capital Campaign. His dynamic initiative outside the Sunshine Café sold 100 books at $20 per copy to help Beebe expand the Emergency Department, which is necessary to meet the increased needs of the significant population growth in this area.
