Local Needlepoint Guild Brightens Beebe’s Third Floor from "A to Z"
07/29/04
Beebe Medical Center recently received stitches of a different variety as the Seashore Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild stitched each letter of the alphabet, showcased in individual frames, and donated the project to Beebe Medical Center’s 3MS.
Members of the group donated their time and talents to create the intricate display. Since the letters have a whimsical, children’s theme, Beebe Medical Center’s third floor, where pediatric patients stay, was the perfect place to feature the generous donation.
The following members of the Seashore Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild stitched the letters displayed at Beebe Medical Center: Bobbye Barlow, Carolyn Belzer, Linda Bolt, Eleanor Boswell, Suzanne Bozwell, Phyllis Carlton, Suzie Cleaver, Shirley Conley, Bonney Eggleston, Debbie Feldman, Alice Fox, Mary Ellen Humes, Nancy Horneck, Roseanne Jahnke, Merle Jean, Sally Moneymaker, Marian Moore, Gail Pehle, Alicia Treacy, Doris Whitehouse, Patricia Van Den Ameele.
The Seashore Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild welcomes all interested new members. All skill levels are welcome, even beginners. The group meets the first Monday of each month and features special guest teachers and “stitches of the month.”
