Art Auction Raffle Winner Contributes Money to Vision 2005

The 15th Annual “Best of the Beach” Art Auction, Dinner and Dance was a major winner for Beebe Medical Center, raising in excess of $113,000 and attracting the largest crowd ever to attend this event. A raffle basket of goodies and cash, sponsored by the Beebe Medical Center staff, is one of the special features offered at the annual Art Auction. Christine Strauss, Chairperson for the Art Auction, drew the winning ticket this year, which belonged to one of the most energetic event volunteers: Jennifer Robino, Chairperson of the Decorating Committee.

“I never win anything,” said Ms. Robino, when her winning ticket was announced. “I believe so strongly in Beebe Medical Center, and the excellence in healthcare services it brings to this community, that I would like to donate the $1,000 prize money to Beebe’s Vision 2005 Campaign for the expansion of the Emergency Department. Mark and I have two small children and I want to be sure the very best care and facilities are available should the need arise.”
