In honor of Independence Day, Beebe Medical Center recently paid tribute to members of the Beebe family who are currently serving and who have served in the U.S. military. In a ceremony at the hospital on Thursday, July 1, 2004, Senator Gary Simpson presented tributes of recognition from the State Senate and the State House of Representatives to Beebe Medical Center’s reservists and guardsmen who recently returned from active duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. The ceremony honored Joe Manning from Beebe's Materials Management department; Tim Drake from Biomed; and Greg White of Plant Engineering. Dr. Larry Hegland, VP of Medical Affairs; Donna Streletzky, VP of Operations; and James Monihan, Vice President of Construction Projects, expressed gratitude on behalf of Beebe Medical Center to all team members who have served our country in the military as well. Mr. Monihan presented each service member with an American flag, thanking them and their family members for making their service possible.
