Beebe Medical Center Publications Garner National Awards

Beebe Medical Center’s Beacon and 2004 Cancer Calendar earned two awards this year from the Healthcare Marketing Report, a national publication that covers the latest news on winning market strategies, concepts and trends in the healthcare industry. The publication’s 21st Annual Awards were announced in their May 2004 issue. In the “hospital under 200 beds” category, Beebe received the Gold Award for the Beacon, a quarterly full-color newspaper insert that provides articles on healthcare topics and features the photography of acclaimed Delaware photographer Pat Crowe. Beebe’s 2004 Cancer Calendar, which features photos and inspirational accounts of cancer survivors for each month, received a Merit Award. Both publications are written and produced by Beebe Medical Center’s Public Relations Department with graphic design work by Dean Design and Marketing Group of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Lincoln, Delaware.
