Beebe Medical Foundation Appoints New Executive Director

The Board of Directors of the Beebe Medical Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Clemmer as the new Executive Director for the Beebe Medical Foundation effective January 1, 2004. Mr. Clemmer has been serving as the Director of Capital Campaigns for the Beebe Medical Foundation since March 2002.
“Under Mike Clemmer’s direction, the Vision 2005 Capital Campaign, which is the largest in the history of the Beebe Medical Center, has already raised more than $6.3 million of the $12 million community goal,” commented Paul H. Mylander, Chairman, Vision 2005 Capital Campaign.
Mr. Clemmer will assume overall responsibility for all of the ongoing operations of the Foundation, which include: events such as the Art Auction, Thanksgiving Ball and Holiday of Lights Tree Lighting; the Beebe
Annual Fund; Vision 2005 Capital Campaign; as well as planned giving and programmatic fundraising.
“We are pleased that Mike has agreed to assume this important assignment. He comes to Beebe after 28 years with the Georgetown University Medical Center, where he was responsible for all Medical Center development programs,” remarked Gene Bookhammer, Chairman, Board of Directors, Beebe
Medical Foundation.
“I am extremely pleased to have this opportunity to help structure a full service development program for the benefit of Beebe Medical Center and to help fulfill its goal of continuing to provide the very best healthcare available for the residents and visitors to our community,” stated Mr. Clemmer.
All current staff of the Foundation will continue in their respective roles and will continue to provide the excellent support that has always been available through the Beebe Medical Foundation.
