Country Life Homes Supports Vision 2005 with $250,000 Gift
02/02/04
Wanting to be sure that Beebe Medical Center will always be available to residents and visitors to the area, Country Life Homes, a local family-owned business, recently made a $250,000 leadership gift to Beebe’s Vision 2005 Capital Campaign.
The importance of “giving back to the community” has always been something that Elmer and Mary Ann Fannin, owners of Country Life Homes, have instilled in their sons.
“This guiding value and sense of commitment to community is inspirational in their various developments, The Plantations and Hearthstone Manor to name a few, and presently helping to shape their newest project at River Rock Run,” commented Joe Hudson, Chairperson, Beebe Medical Center Board of Directors.
The Fannins have directed their gift in support of the expansion and renovation of the Emergency Department on Beebe’s Savannah Road Campus. The planned expansion will increase the number of emergency beds from 18 to 36 and will permit 40,000 emergency visits annually.
“As a family we wanted our gift to make a difference and we could not think of a project that has more merit or fulfills a greater need for this community than the expansion of Beebe’s Emergency Department,” explained Elmer Fannin, President, Country Life Homes.
