Movies at Midway Reaches $100,000 Milestone toward $250,000 Pledge

“’Tis the Season of Giving” was certainly the mood recently during the presentation of the latest check from Atlantic Theaters Movies at Midway to Beebe Medical Center’s Vision 2005 Capital Campaign. In support of the Vision 2005 Campaign, Movies at Midway pledged a total of $250,000 to help create the new Beebe Outpatient Care Center on Route 24, construct a new Central Utility Building and significantly expand and renovate the Emergency Department on the Lewes campus.

The pledge is based on the contribution of 10 cents per movie ticket sold. With the presentation of this check, their donations have reached the $100,000 mark. Pledges and gifts such as Movies at Midway’s have helped to raise more than half of the $12 million community campaign goal.
