Beebe Medical Center’s Fall Flu Vaccination Campaign

As a health service to the community, Beebe Medical Center’s Community Health Department will provide its annual influenza vaccination program during October and November. Influenza vaccinations will be given at the following dates, locations, and times listed below:
October 13, 2003 - Dagsboro Fire Company (5-7 p.m.)
October 14, 2003 - Millsboro Fire Company (5-7 p.m.)
October 19, 2003 - Mary Mother of Peace Millsboro (noon - 2 p.m.)
Rte. 24 and Road 297 Oak Orchard
October 21, 2003 - Milton Fire Company (5-7 p.m.)
October 23, 2003 - Millville Fire Company (5-7 p.m.)
October 25, 2003 - Nanticoke Indian Center Millsboro (10 a.m. -noon)
Route 24, near Indian Museum
October 26, 2003 - St. Michael’s Georgetown (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
202 Edward Street
November 1, 2003 - St. Ann's Bethany (10 a.m. - noon)
Route 26
November 2, 2003 - St. Edmond’s Rehoboth (11 a.m. – 1 p.m.)
King Charles & Laurel Street
November 8, 2003 - St. Matthew’s By The Sea (9 a.m. – noon)
Ocean Highway at Dagsboro, Fenwick Island
November 16, 2003 – St. Jude’s (10 a.m. - noon)
Highway One, Lewes at Five Points
A $5 donation will be requested during the time of vaccination. For more information about Beebe’s influenza vaccination program, please call Beebe Medical Center’s Community Health Department at 645-3100 ext. 5139. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends the best time to get flu vaccine is October or November; although, it stresses getting vaccinated in December or later can still protect you against the flu.
