New Administrator Joins Lewes Convalescent Center

Beebe Medical Center is pleased to welcome Michelle M. Amadio as the new administrator of the Lewes Convalescent Center (LCC). In her new role, Ms. Amadio will lead the organization in all aspects of business operations, including patient relations, staff development, and clinical and facility management.
“Ms. Amadio brings a balanced background in the clinical and social dynamics of long-term care as important parts of the continuum of care for patients, coupled with an understanding of increasing industry regulations and Delaware-specific reporting and certification requirements,” explains Jeffrey Fried, president of Beebe Medical Center, which is the parent organization of LCC. “We are delighted Ms. Amadio has joined our team and look forward to her leadership.”
Ms. Amadio returns to LCC after serving as Director of Resident Services/Administrator in Training from 1998-1999 and case manager from 1997-1998. She joins LCC from her most recent role as Executive Director of Millcroft, a Sunrise Senior Living Services Community in Newark, Delaware. Additionally, Ms. Amadio has worked as a clinical evaluator and consultant for Marriott Senior Living Services, as well as in other adult care setting management. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware and has been a licensed nursing home administrator since 2000.
