Jean & Joan Fund Presents $27,000 Gift to Tunnell Cancer Center

The Jean & Joan Fund, an organization established in the memory of Jean James and Joan Martin, recently presented a check for $27,000 to Beebe Medical Center’s Tunnell Cancer Center. The Jean & Joan Fund has organized a golf tournament for the past three years to support its goal of assisting the Tunnell Cancer Center in providing care and comfort for patients. The Fund’s most recent donation brings its three-year total to $72,000. These generous donations have enabled the Tunnell Cancer Center to provide numerous support services for patients, including its new Jean & Joan Image and Recovery Center - a resource to help patients deal with the effects cancer treatments can have on self-esteem and appearance, and provide educational materials and Internet access to a cancer resources library.
