Tunnell Cancer Center Offers No-Cost Mammograms March 10 for Women who Qualify

"Beebe Medical Center's Tunnell Cancer Center is offering no-cost mammography for women who qualify, along with clinical breast exams, and breast health education from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, March 10, at Tunnell Cancer Center on Route 24 in Rehoboth Beach. Every woman who attends will receive a gift.

Pre-registration is required for a no-cost mammogram and clinical breast exam. To register, please call (302) 645-3169 before the day of the event and speak with our cancer screening nurse navigator. Free transportation can also be arranged by the nurse navigator.

All women 18 years and older should have a clinical breast exam, and all women 40 years and older should have a yearly mammogram.

The event is part of the Sharing Our Stories, Saving Our Sisters initiative funded by a grant from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Philadelphia Affiliate.
