Beebe Medical Center Registered Dietician to Speak at Better Breathers Support Group Meeting March 16

"Beebe Medical Center registered dietician Kim Westcott, MS, RD, CSO, LDN, will speak to the Better Breathers Support Group at its March meeting at the McCurry Conference Center at the Beebe Health Campus, 18941 John J. Williams Highway, Rehoboth Beach.

The meeting will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 16. Ms. Westcott's presentation highlights March as National Nutritional Month, which is a reminder of the importance of healthy eating habits.

Ms. Westcott has been a Registered Dietitian at Beebe Medical Center since September 1993, working in a variety of positions supporting the nutritional needs of those in the school-based wellness centers, outpatient facilities, in-patients and those attending community events. Ms. Westcott is a certified specialist in oncology nutrition and works with cancer patients at Beebe Medical Center. She is a Delaware licensed dietician, and has a Master's Degree in Health Education.
