Jean & Joan Fund Presents Check for $28,000 to Tunnell Cancer Center

11/30/10

The Jean & Joan Fund committee presented a check for $28,000 to Beebe Medical Center's Tunnell Cancer Center from the proceeds of the 11th Annual Golf Tournament held in October at the Kings Creek Country Club.

Over the last 11 years the Jean & Joan Fund has contributed $310,000 for patient care. These funds have been used to jointly create, with the Tunnell Cancer Center, a Cancer Patient Special Needs Fund that was founded five years ago, and to purchase vehicles that provide transportation to remote patients for their treatment and testing.
