Tunnell Cancer Center to Host Men's Health Forum
Beebe Medical Center's Tunnell Cancer Center will hold a free Men's Health Forum, Tuesday September 28, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Tunnell Cancer Center, 18947 John J Williams Hwy, in Rehoboth Beach.
Practitioners will be on site to offer men's health education about prostate screening. For those who choose a free PSA (prostate specific antigen), blood test will be offered.
The event is being organized as a part of Tunnell Cancer Center's Cancer Screening Nurse Navigator services. The goal of this event is to provide men's health education to men who are interested in making an informed decision about their prostate health. We encourage each man to make his own decision, given his own values and preferences. Men age 50 and older and African American men age 45 and older are encouraged to attend this screening event.
For more information about this event, or to find out if you are eligible for the no-cost PSA, or to pre-register for a PSA blood test, please call (302) 645-3169.
