Cash n' Carry Sale Kicks off at Beebe Treasure Chest Thrift Shop

The Beebe Treasure Chest Thrift Shop is planning a three-day, Cash n' Carry sale featuring rock bottom prices. Beginning Thursday, July 15, the sale is offering so much furniture and household items that it is taking place in the former Midway Carpet store, located two doors down from the Thrift Shop in the Midway Shopping Mall along Route 1 in Rehoboth Beach.

Items to be on sale include sofas, day beds, exercise equipment, printers, televisions, lamps and even holiday decorations and artwork. Shoppers should be prepared to carry out the items and take them home.

The sales will take place from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. until July 31. The shop is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

The shop, opened in February 2007, has been a fundraising success for Beebe Medical Center, aiding the Beebe Medical Center Auxiliary in its tireless effort to support the medical center and the healthcare that it brings to the community. The Shop is operated by the Beebe Medical Center Auxiliary, Inc., and staffed by volunteers.

Individuals and businesses throughout the community have contributed all of the items that are available for sale. The Treasure Chest Thrift Shop is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. To make arrangements for the pick up of large items please call Manager Pamela Coleman at 644-2878.
